Louise Mace

Louise joined Cumberland Community School as head of history in 2016. While in this role she organised trips, increased student passion for history and developed their analytical skills increasing student outcome across her department, 

Since her appointment as Assistant Headteacher in July 2022 she has taken the lead in staff development at Cumberland Community School, ensuring that all new starters are inducted to the school and systems and taken charge of the Early Career Framework for ECTs at this school. Louise is a strong believer that expert training, guidance and support for staff is the best way to ensure that students experience a safe, stimulating and resilient environment
